Back to School!

Dear Families,

We are so excited to welcome friends both old and new and to once again fill our hallways with the laughter of children.

We have such a fabulous year planned for you and your children and we look forward to sharing in the joy of early childhood.

Please be sure to visit my page as I will continue to update it with highlights from the Akiba Early Childhood Program.

In addition, my door is always open to you to answer any questions, listen to any comments or concerns, or for you to share an enjoyable story about your child.

I am looking forward to a phenomenal year!

B'Shalom,
Jordana Bernstein, Early Childhood Director

After a delicious Thanksgiving Feast this morning the Nitzanim and Chaverim children enjoyed a Native American storyteller. They heard some wonderful folktales and experienced instruments and music that enhanced the storytelling. One of the children spontaneously said, "I like this music!"

CHESED AT AKIBA

Our Chesed committee is asking for the following items from the grades as we collect for the soldiers in Israel for Channuka. The items are being taken by a volunteer who is travelling to Israel at that time. If you can keep what you collect in your class and the chesed committee will come by to pick the items up. Just mention the item that is needed for your grade on  your page to make it easier.

The items need to come in by December 1:
