A tribute donation offers you a thoughtful way to celebrate a simcha or express your sympathy while contributing to Akiba’s mission to provide a superior general and Judaic education. Donations can be made to any of the funds listed below. We also welcome the establishment of named funds. An acknowledgement of your donation will be sent to the honoree or the family of the person you are memorializing.

General Fund: supports general operating expenses

Scholarship Fund: provides tuition assistance for those in need

Annual Fund: supports general operating expenses

Endowment Fund: supports the school’s overall operating budget

Pre-School Fund: supports operating expenses for the Pre-School

Library Fund: supports library needs (i.e. new books, equipment, etc.)

Sports Programs Fund: to enhance sports program (i.e. equipment and coaching)

Technology Fund: underwrites technology programs and equipment

Hot Lunch Subsidy Fund: underwrites cost of hot lunches for children in need

Uniform Subsidy Fund: underwrites uniform costs for those in need

Margot Rosenberg Pulitzer '76
Memorial Fund: In memory of Akiba Alumna Margot Rosenberg Pulitzer who passed away in 2002.

This fund was created to help preserve Modern Orthodoxy in Dallas. Interest is used for operating and other school expenses.

Ari Weiss Israel Programs Memorial Fund: In memory of Akiba alumnus Sergeant Ari Joshua Weiss of the Nahal Brigade, who was shot and killed by Palestinian terrorists just three weeks short of his 22nd birthday. Underwrites the cost of Israel programming.

Putter/Sukenik Scholarship Fund: supports scholarships for single parents only.

Headmaster’s Discretionary Fund: supports various projects including creative new programming and scholarship initiatives.
