Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know that the 8th grade will take their math end of trimester test on Monday, December 11th, 2017. The test will include all the units we have covered. The review is due on Thursday, December 7th. We will work on it during class time, however it will be necessary for the students to also work on it at home to complete the task on time. The review should be completed independently as all the topics have been covered in class and in previous reviews and quizzes. Students also can use the following resources: - Their notes - Past Review - Past Quizzes - Text Book. The review is also an opportunity for students to develop their organizational skills as well as their time management. Additionally, students are encouraged to make their own guides. They will be able to use their guides on the day of the exam. On it they can write formulas, notes, examples, procedures, definitions, etc. Their guides should only be one page (both sides), are for individual use and cannot be shared or borrowed. They need to be hand-written and no photocopies will be allowed. The test will look very similar to the review, but will be less extensive as it is designed to be completed during regular class time. Students can use a calculator. Calculators are a tool to help students check their operations, however they will still need to show all their work both in the review and in the test. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to let me know. Sincerely, Ms. Guzman MS Math Teacher
