Library Resources

The Akiba library has a collection of about 11,000 titles of general and Judaic interest, in both print and media. Students from preschool through grade eight regularly visit the library, with weekly classes scheduled for pre-K through fifth grade.

Akiba’s library is fully automated; all books and resources have been electronically catalogued, making the library catalog accessible to Akiba families, students, faculty and staff online. Below you will find links to search the library catalog and to access our subscription databases.

This year we will be participating in 2 school-wide reading programs: the Texas Bluebonnet Award and Six Flags: Read to Succeed.

You can keep up with what we are reading and what’s happening in the library by visiting the Akiba Library Blog: http://akibalibrary.wordpress.com/
